It just broke my heart when I got the news of your passing two years after graduation. You will always be missed <3

I just saw Shauna's photo on this sight and it brought back many fond memories of the wonderful, vibrant, funny, kind, and in all ways amazing person who was Shauna. We lived on the same street. She was a great friend. Now, many years later, she is still missed. I hope she knows in some way that her memory is alive and well with us.

Shauna was easily among my most favorite people and dearest friends. We were mischievous at times but mostly just  lots of fun and even tender memories. High school would not have been the same without her peppermint spray ice cream and mystic mint cravings, her little black Porsche, our terrible singing on long bus rides, her loyalty, her shenanigans, humor, and Shauna adventures only she could conjure up. She was/is so vibrant and brave. Among the tender memories was many hours I spent with her during her brain cancer battle.  We talked a lot and had many sweet and spiritual exchanges.  That experiencewas life affirming for me in many ways. She is a great person and genuine friend. I miss her.

Shauna was one of those few people who are a beautiful on the inside as on the outside and she was a true beauty.  She truly cared about her friends and family and was deeply loved by them. I have so many memories of being with her...summertime antics and adventures, speeding around in the lttle black Porsche with its 8-track blasting (she could always talk her way out of tickets), pastrami burgers at Crown Burger and Big "H"s at Hires (she ate more than anyone I knew) and endless games of Gin Rummy.  Even when she was so sick, she alway beat me.  The tender and spiritual moments with her changed me and her death left a huge hole.  I miss her very much.
